HOLLAND’S BIGGEST THEME-PARK

Efteling is the biggest theme park in the Netherlands and one of the oldest in the world, located in Kaatsheuvel, the Netherlands. The park is based on 30 fairytales, myths, folklore, legends and is divided into 5 area’s, each representing a different fairytale world. Efteling is a park where stories come to life!

Having visited this nostalgic park many times in our childhood, it was a great pleasure to contribute to the Efteling Museum by creating an interactive game.

Mr.Beam provided both technical installation and interactive design for this new attraction at the theme-park.

 

 

EXPLORING THE PARK WITH AN INTERACTIVE FAIRYTALE GAME

In July 2019, Efteling officially opened a new item at the Efteling Museum: an interactive game for kids to discover and learn about their favourite fairytales.
Being one of the biggest theme-parks in the world, the Efteling is 72 000 m2 big and has 5 different area’s, each representing a fantasy world.

This interactive game provides more insights in the variety fairytales that are spread throughout the park. The installation, connects 30 elements on the wall with 30 buttons on the touch-board. An animated wizard guides you through the story, encouraging you to make the right guess and listen to his captivating stories.
