On Thursday, November 28th, The Hague opened the interactive projection show The Hague Highlights together with Onno Wittenberg, Marketing Director Mauritshuis. Every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday until December 21st, the Ridderzaal and the Mauritshuis will transform into a huge projection mapping canvas.

After last year’s success, our projection show on the Ridderzaal returns with a new interactive installation on the facade of Mauritshuis.  The launch of The Hague Highlights also marks the start of the “Have A Royal Winter” program in The Hague. Both the city center and the coast of Scheveningen offer a variety of events during the winter.

Our last year’s projection show ‘Old Masters, New Heroes’ return to light up the facade of Ridderzaal again. You’re welcome to learn about 800 years of history through our storytelling projection mapping show.

The Binnenhof has been the center of power, the heart of the democracy and the fundament of freedom. Nowhere else in the world has a government center been operational for 8 centuries with such a strong connection to monarchy, art and culture. The Ridderzaal served as our canvas to take the visitor on a visual journey through the history of Dutch democracy.
