Interior design for every mood

If your imagination is too wild for one particular interior design, why not create multiple designs for every occasion to transform your living room whenever you like?

‘Living Room’ is one of the first projects we created as a studio. Using an all white IKEA living room as a set, we were able to manipulate the entire space using projection mapping techniques.

1 set, 2 projectors

To create a 3D set, we used basic elements from the IKEA collection such as a couch, table, cabinet and a carpet. This all white interior served as a canvas for our imagination to project on. We had lots of fun integrating different styles for every mood onto the furniture, transforming the space from a vintage look interior to retro, to a sophisticated study with a leather couch and a children’s room with colorful patterns and cartoon figures like SpongeBob Squarepants and Miffy.

Back then our technical setup wasn’t as complicated as these days: we used only 2 projectors to cover the whole space in different patterns and designs. Simplicity is key, right? This project is a result of experiment, simplicity and lots of fun.
